As well as tango, Martin is also an accomplished vocalist in rock and pop sung in English. Influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Terence Trent D'Arby and 'Voice of Rock' Glenn Hughes formerly of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, Martin sings his own penned songs as putting his own distinctive style on covers by bands such as Cream and the Rolling Stones.
